Filtration of aerosol samplings and various gases. Filtration of aqueous solutions. Retention of particles in acids, bases and solvents.

Properties : High non-specific absorption. Naturally hydrophilic. Large filtration area with high filtration efficiency. Uniform pore structure. Sterilization by autoclaving (121 °C or 134 °C), with ethylene oxide. Max. temperature: 130 °C. Examples of applications : Ultrafiltration of dyeing solutions, radioactive solutions. Sterilizing filtration of culture mediums, amino acids and syrups. Removal of bacterias, blood components, cells pieces.

Ref. 460	Properties : Chemically resistant. Naturally hydrophilic. High absorption and good mechanical strength. Sterilization by autoclaving (121 °C or 134 °C), with ethylene oxide. Examples of applications : Clarification of the mobile phases for HPLC. Sterilizing of alkaline solutions. Filtration of air, gases, solvents and aqueous solutions. Filtration of water, blood.
